Consul-General of India visits Adelaide
The Consul-General of India in Sydney, Mr B. Vanlalvawna, will be in Adelaide today to highlight opportunities for South Australian businesses interested in trading with Indian counterparts.
As part of the South Australian Government’s Business Education Program, today’s engagement session provided an insight into India’s business environment and recent India Government policy initiatives.
Representatives from Indian and South Australian companies also outlined their success of doing international business.
Background
The Business Education Program is coordinated by the State Government to provide businesses with relevant information on key markets and economic opportunities in targeted regions.
Sessions have been held to provide information on the South East Asia, China and India markets, with more planned later in the year about the European, North Asia and the Middle East and North Africa markets.
